Welcome to the Magistrate Spotlight!  This award is meant to provide increased recognition for Magistrates throughout the Commonwealth.  The VMA is seeking to highlight Magistrates for their dedication, hard work, knowledge of the criminal law, and their ability to improve office conditions.  Whether or not you’re a member of the VMA, we’d love to see submissions which describe either a singular event where a Magistrate went above and beyond the line of duty, or a body of work which you believe should receive the spotlight.  Every quarter we will choose a new Magistrate to recognize from the submissions we receive and all honorees will receive a token of appreciation from the VMA.
